Kailua's Enchanted Lake
Under the slopes of Mt. Olomana and overlooking Keolu Hills
Welcome to Enchanted Lake, Kailua, and a quaint rental home on the cool windward side. Here you will find a local-style property located in a quiet, 40-something year old subdivision with many homes and families that have been here for most, if not all, of those years. You'll find residents from retired seniors to young children playing in their yards or walking and bicycling around the neighborhood.

Now for a bit of legal definition:
This accommodation has a one month minimum stay. The City and County of Honolulu (island of Oahu) currently has a moratorium on Bed & Breakfast Homes and Transient Vacation Units. These are defined as accommodations with paying guests staying just a few days. This rental is allowed to operate legally as long as guests stay at least 30 days. Anyone staying less than 6 months (short term rental) is required by the State of Hawaii to pay a "transient accommodations" tax (currently 10.25%) in addition to the "general excise" tax (4.712%). Stays longer than 6 months (long term rental) need only pay the "general excise" tax.
